Red Cross Lifeguard Class
Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid for the Professional Rescuer
This is a 5 day class consisting of lifeguarding skills, CPR and First Aid training.
You must take a swim test prior to registering for this class. Please contact Tianna Fraser at 907-481-2267 or tfraser@city.kodiak.ak.us prior to August 7th to schedule and complete this portion.
After passing the swim test and completing the registration you will receive the link to an online course that must be completed prior to taking the in-person training. This training consists of rescue skills, book work, videos, and scenarios. All session must be attended and an in-water and written test passed to receive the certification. Certifications are good for 2 years
The cost is $80. Please swim test prior to registering for this class!
